Here is the July issue.<\/p>\n<h2>F\u00e9d\u00e9sap reacts to the announcement of the new government<\/h2>\n<p>F\u00e9d\u00e9sap reacted to the results of the early parliamentary elections by expressing its expectation of the appointment of the new government. F\u00e9d\u00e9sap is the leading federation in the Personal Services sector, representing 4,000 structures employing 160,000 professionals. They serve over 800,000 families and people with disabilities. F\u00e9d\u00e9sap emphasizes the importance of the sector, both for local employment and for the fight against undeclared work. With the creation of 300,000 jobs forecast by 2030, it stresses the need to support this sector in the face of the current recruitment crisis.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00e9d\u00e9sap warns against measures that could hinder access to employment. But they could also affect the fragile economic model of SAP structures. It stresses that 85% of the cost of services is made up of salaries, and calls for a reflection on purchasing power in line with the sector's model of solidarity. Finally, F\u00e9d\u00e9sap appeals to the responsibility of newly elected representatives. This essential sector must be protected in the face of future demographic and social challenges.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fedesap.org\/blog\/2024\/07\/09\/services-a-la-personne-reaction-de-la-fedesap-suite-aux-resultats-des-elections-legislatives\/\">Source : <\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Study on alternative housing<\/h2>\n<p>SAD (Services Autonomie \u00e0 Domicile), building on their expertise in supporting people at home, are launching alternative housing projects, with or without a direct real estate component.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>MVA variability :<\/strong> The Aides Personnalis\u00e9es au Logement (AVP) that finance these projects vary considerably. For example, in terms of amounts, allocation criteria and support for project owners.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Respect for individual choice :<\/strong> SAD must ensure that alternative housing projects respect the individual choices of residents. This applies in particular to the pooling of assistance hours, participation in social life and the choice of service providers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Scattered housing :<\/strong> Diffuse housing, i.e. individual dwellings spread across a territory, represents an opportunity for SADs. If they wish, they can get involved in alternative housing without having to invest in real estate.<\/li>\n<li><strong>New skills :<\/strong> The development of new projects calls for the acquisition of new skills for SAD staff, both in the field and in supervisory positions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Supporting beneficiaries :<\/strong> Personalized support for beneficiaries anticipates and facilitates the transitions linked to lifestyle changes brought about by an alternative housing project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SADs are playing an increasingly important role in the development of alternative housing. Their expertise in the ordinary environment enables them to propose appropriate solutions and promote social inclusion.
