Here is the May issue.<\/p>\n<h2>Confirmation: Abolition of exceptional aid for hiring young people on professionalization contracts<\/h2>\n<p>The Journal Officiel of April 28 unfortunately recorded the government's decision to abolish the exceptional aid of 6,000 euros from May 1, 2024. This aid was granted to employers hiring young employees on professionalization contracts.<\/p>\n<p>This decision reverses the government's initial intention to maintain this exceptional aid until December 31, 2024. It also puts an end to this aid eight months ahead of schedule.<\/p>\n<p>However, the decree does not call into question the payment of aid for contracts signed before April 30.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/jorf\/id\/JORFTEXT000049478981\">Source :<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Julien Jourdan highlights lack of government support for home help services<\/h2>\n<p>On April 25, four federations from the homecare sector (Ad\u00e9dom, ADMR, FNAAFP\/CSF and Una) expressed their frustration in a press release. They denounce the exclusion of homecare services from the \u20ac650 million aid package. This aid had been announced on April 23, and was intended solely for Ehpad. J\u00e9r\u00f4me Perrin, of ADMR, stresses the inconsistency of this decision with government declarations in favor of home support. The federations criticize Minister Fadila Khattabi for this policy, which they deem unfair.<\/p>\n<p>The homecare sector is facing major challenges, including a staff shortage estimated at 60,000 employees. Homecare needs are expected to increase by 20 % over the next ten years. Despite numerous reports warning of the situation, the sector remains underfunded. These are precarious jobs with difficult working conditions. The aim: to discuss the new financing arrangements for home help, highlighting several key points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Simplified financing<\/b> F\u00e9d\u00e9sap has called for a simplification of funding mechanisms, such as the conf\u00e9rence des financeurs, CPOMs and CRTs, to reduce administrative overload and improve efficiency.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>More flexible autonomy services reform<\/b> F\u00e9d\u00e9sap is proposing to create new SSIAD (home nursing care service) places for homecare structures, given the limited interest in merging SAADs (home assistance and support services) and SSIADs.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Development of new structures<\/b> F\u00e9d\u00e9sap: F\u00e9d\u00e9sap has stressed the need to develop new structures in the regions, criticizing the current process of calls for projects from the d\u00e9partements, which is holding back the necessary expansion in the face of rising needs.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Restoring confidence<\/b> : It's crucial to restore trust between those involved in homecare. But also in support and care. Vincent Vincentelli of UNA points out that managing staff leave is a major problem, while Franck Nataf of Fedesap describes the situation as \u00abdramatic\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>The need for homecare assistance is set to increase by 20 % over the next ten years, and by 60 % over the next thirty years, due to the French people's desire to age in their own homes. Despite repeated warnings over the past ten years, the situation continues to deteriorate.
